There are long-lasting lipsticks available at any drugstore. However, if you feel attached to your particular lipstick, try this:
1. Apply a little bit of chapstick or vaseline on your lips.
2. If you want, apply lipliner.
3. Use a lipstick brush (available at a drugstore or Sephora) to apply the lipstick to your upper and lower lip.
4. Blot the lipstick with a single ply of tissue.
5. Apply another layer of the lipstick with the lipstick brush.
6. Blot again with the single ply o tissue.
7. If you want a glossy look, smooth a little vaseline on top.
This method takes a while, but it makes my lip color last all day (keep applying chapstick to keep your lips moist).
I hope I helped! How do I get my lipstick to last longer?
fill your lips in with a liner first....;)How do I get my lipstick to last longer?
I find it good to make sure your lips ahve no cream on before applying the lipstick...Even better is, if you use foundation, to lightly pat soem on your lips - this acts as a great primer then apply your lipstick with a lip brush....lightly puff over with transluscent powder after one layer..then apply another layer of lipstick...
You can get lipstick covers to put on top.to 'seal' in the colour but they can dry out some peoples lips.....
Hope this works!!!
Put clear lipgloss over your lips after you apply your lipstick. Also, try buying lipstick that is long lasting and says it will stay on for the whole day. You may have to try out different brands to see which one you like best!
'Hope I helped!
buy the kind that stays on longer!
Avon's MyLipMiracle is the best long-lasting lipstick I've ever tried. It will last thru out the whole day - even after you eat! It's also now on sale for $3.99 and it's available in all different shades and colors. Go to http://www.youravon.com/dklobuchar
if you want something expensive then you should try the MAC Primer.. if you are on budget.. then just use foundation on yoru lips before applying the lipstick.. it works just as well and you dont have any buy anything extra!.. good luck!!
I know this sounds bad but do not eat or drink anything!
Put foundation on your lips first and then put the lipstick, or if you have lip liner that is the same color as your lipstick; fill in your lips with the lip liner first. Then you can apply the lipstick.
You should try a primer like MACs Prep + Prime for Lips! I love that stuff!
Get some that last longer , I know that they make some that should last longer .
Lipstick is the most vital part of your daily makeup routine. It helps keep your color looking balanced and accentuates your smile and friendly face. Unfortunately, it's the first thing to fail you as you go through your day, especially if you bite or lick your lips. To help minimize the need for reapplication, follow the steps below.
Apply your lipstick as normal, with or without lip liner. Blot once with a double ply tissue. This may dim the color, which is okay. Apply a second layer of lipstick, and blot again. This removes the oils from the lipstick and leaves the matte and color behind, which will stay better over the course of the day.
Apply a clear gloss over the top to help you seal in the color and allow your lips to retain their color much longer.
Good Luck!
