I want my lipstick to look fresh for as long as possible, without caking, or making my lips too dry and cracking ...What lipstick finnish is better? Glossy or matte?
If it's a really really good photographer, use a glossy lip color, %26amp; use it a deep color.
Other wise use only a lip color with just some amount of gloss because it either won't show or may have light refraction making your pictures look odd.

I think you should wear a long lasting matte finish lipstick and then put a clear or pink tinted gloss on over, it will look best in photos, just remember to reapply the gloss before every picture if the gloss doesnt move around on your lips when you press them/rub them together
hm this is difficult, i love both looks. if you dont want gloss ALL over your lips you can always apply it to the center of your bottom lip and it sort of makes your lips ';pop'; or look a little more full.
