Matte lipstick question...?

I have healthy, smooth enough lips but when i put on matte lipstick, it turns wrinkly. How can i avoid it without putting lip balm or lip gloss?Matte lipstick question...?
Matte lipstick is just very drying and it just does that on some people. It does to me too. If you have a good quality lipstick it shouldn't be as bad, however chapstik underneath should help. And if the quality is there you should still have a matte finish. Also, try looking for something with a plumper or ingredients like cinnamon some even have a little jalapeno! That will ';poof'; your lips thus eliminating the wrinkly look! Hope this helps!!!Matte lipstick question...?
sounds like your lips may be dry? do u use a lip liner try that and other then that maybe cover your lips with a foundation the same u use on your face b4 applying
it sounds like your lips may be dry, or the matte is just brining out the lines and wrinkles in your lips.

either way, you should put on some chapstick, wait for it to absorb a little, then put on lip primer.

the chapstick will help keep your lips moisturized and the lip primer will keep your lipstick on longer.

after letting it dry a bit, apply lipliner, especially if the colour you use is red. mattes can get messy and smudge easily, etc. fill in your lips a little with the lipliner and then apply your lipstick.

the lipliner will also help keep your lipstick in place, giving it more of a foundation to stick to as well with the lip primer. it will also help you avoid ring around the lips.

good luck!
Use a lip primer! Bee-Luscious has really great one that I use. It will prevent that from happening and also will ';neutralize'; your lips so your lips will match the lip color you use.
i'm not sure about what to do about the lipstick.

but you could try a stain, it'll dry matte and stay on very well through out the day.
Matte lipstick makes your lips dry and makes you look older. You should tints or gloss for healthy lips.
