What's the best matte lipstick?

In....various different colors...What's the best matte lipstick?
I'm into Dior's lip color in the tube. I thought it was gloss because most glosses come in a tube, but it's soooooo matte. It smells great, has wonderful coverage, and it goes well with my complexion. It's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it. Lately, everything seems to be so sheer and I like coverage!

Update: I'm so sorry that I told you it was Dior. While it is true that Dior has a nice lip color in a tube (which I own), I meant to say Givenchy. Givenchy is a GREAT matte lip color, and it comes in a tube.What's the best matte lipstick?

My faves are Russian Red, though I can't quite pull it off.

But most matte lipsticks will go on uneven, or leave you feeling extremely dry when you apply them.


So everymorning, especially before I use a matte lipstick, I exfoliate my lips with CO Bigelow's sugar scrub, and apply carmex.


But before I apply my lipstick I blot of the extra chapstick.





Yeah, those are my recommendations.
Revlon's Beyond Natural line of lip-tints are really, really pretty. They don 't have any shimmer, they're very inexpensive and they come with SPF. For a 'tint', they give amazing color pay-off and they last a good while. They moisturize beautifully, too. They make your lips look fuller and healthier, as well.





They're a glossy-matte, though, but no shimmer. Limited colors, of course, but there's something there for everyone.
MAC lipsticks are good, their mattes stay on very long and are smooth.
